The Ivy Collection is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Goods Receiver to oversee the receipt and processing of deliveries in our restaurants. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our kitchens receive the necessary ingredients and supplies to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt and processing of deliveries, ensuring that all items are accurately received and stored in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any issues related to deliveries or inventory management.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the receipt and processing of deliveries.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that all necessary ingredients and supplies are available to meet customer demand.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
