Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our team at Artemis Recruitment Consultants Ltd. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial planning team by preparing suitability reports, drafting templates, and obtaining relevant quotations from providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of Suitability Reports: Prepare suitability reports from approved templates, ensuring all necessary information is included and accurately presented.
  2. Drafting Templates: Draft templates for approval, taking into account the specific needs of our clients and the requirements of the financial planning process.
  3. Obtaining Quotations: Obtain relevant quotations from providers, ensuring that all necessary information is provided and that the quotations are accurate and up-to-date.
  4. Processing New Business: Process new business, including the preparation of client files and the completion of necessary paperwork.
  5. Obtaining Policy Information: Obtain policy information from clients, ensuring that all necessary details are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  6. Treating Customers Fairly: Demonstrate principles of Treating Customers Fairly in all customer dealings, ensuring that our clients receive fair and transparent advice and service.
  7. Communicating Recommendations: Communicate easily understandable recommendations to customers in all cases, and in writing, ensuring that our clients are fully informed and able to make informed decisions.
  8. Compliance: Be aware of and comply with the rules of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the set procedures of the business to achieve compliance.
  9. Client Files: Create compliant client files where all communications are documented correctly, ensuring that our clients' records are accurate and up-to-date.
  10. Supporting Good Quality Advice: Support the provision of good quality advice and service that does not require customers to make complaints, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.
  11. CPD Activity: Complete CPD activity to meet identified needs and complete training activity records accordingly, ensuring that our team members are up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
  12. Rule Breaches: Ensure any rule breaches are brought to the attention of the Senior Management, ensuring that our business remains compliant and up-to-date with regulatory requirements.
  13. Compliance Standards: Develop and maintain the highest possible compliance standards in all aspects of the business, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and that our business remains compliant.
  14. Additional Tasks: Perform such tasks that the Director(s) may consider appropriate to your role, training, and experience, ensuring that our business remains efficient and effective.

Qualifications:

  1. Full FPC or Certificate of Financial Planning: Hold a Full FPC or Certificate of Financial Planning (first paper required for Trainee status), ensuring that you have the necessary qualifications and knowledge to perform the role effectively.
