Job Description

As a Paraplanner/Trainee at Artemis Recruitment Consultants Ltd, you will play a vital role in supporting the provision of high-quality financial planning services to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  1. Preparation of Suitability Reports: You will prepare suitability reports from approved templates, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately captured and presented in a clear and concise manner.
  2. Drafting Templates: You will draft templates for approval, working closely with senior management to ensure that all templates meet the required standards.
  3. Obtaining Quotations: You will obtain relevant quotations from providers, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately captured and presented in a clear and concise manner.
  4. Processing New Business: You will process new business, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
  5. Obtaining Policy Information: You will obtain policy information, ensuring that all necessary details are accurately captured and presented in a clear and concise manner.
  6. Treating Customers Fairly: You will demonstrate the principles of Treating Customers Fairly in all customer dealings, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and support.
  7. Communicating Recommendations: You will communicate easily understandable recommendations to customers in all cases, and in writing, ensuring that our clients are fully informed and supported throughout the process.
  8. Compliance and Governance: You will be aware of and comply with the rules of the FCA and the set procedures of the business to achieve compliance, ensuring that our operations are always conducted in a transparent and accountable manner.
  9. Client File Management: You will create compliant client files, ensuring that all communications are documented correctly and that our clients' records are accurate and up-to-date.
  10. Continuous Professional Development: You will complete CPD activity to meet identified needs and complete training activity records accordingly, ensuring that your skills and knowledge are always up-to-date and relevant.
  11. Reporting Breaches: You will ensure that any rule breaches are brought to the attention of the Senior Management, ensuring that our operations are always conducted in a transparent and accountable manner.
  12. Compliance Standards: You will develop and maintain the highest possible compliance standards in all aspects of the business, ensuring that our operations are always conducted in a transparent and accountable manner.

Qualifications:

  1. Full FPC or Certificate of Financial Planning: You will hold a Full FPC or Certificate of Financial Planning (first paper required for Trainee status), ensuring that you have the necessary qualifications and knowledge to perform your role effectively.
