Video Editor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our remote production team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and informative videos for a wide audience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Edit and produce high-quality videos that incorporate live-action and animation footage, utilizing video editing software and collaborating with animators.
  • Work closely with on-screen talent to ensure the video content is accurate and of excellent quality.
  • Attend shoots as a camera operator, possibly requiring international travel.
  • Ensure that the channel's visual language and editing style is continued within all future edits.
  • Edit YouTube shorts and cutdowns for other social media platforms.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in video editing and post-production.
  • Excellent knowledge of video production software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and other related software).
  • Experience and a strong understanding of YouTube and social media platforms.
