About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Acute Paediatrics Doctor to join our paediatric team at James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our trust's services.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in acute paediatrics and be experienced in working with children and young people. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake ward rounds and participate in clinics to provide high-quality patient care.
- Supervise and teach junior staff members, including Specialty Trainees, on practical procedures.
- Maintain effective communication with General Practitioners and other hospital departments to ensure seamless care for patients.
Person Specification:
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification.
- Full GMC registration.
- At least 3 years' experience at Specialty Trainee level or higher, with two years' experience in the specialty.
- Experience in teaching and education.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- MRCPCH Part 1 and Part 2 qualifications.
- EPLS and NLS training.
- Experience in community child health and/or subspecialty areas.
Estimated Salary: £83,441 - £104,065 per annum.
