The Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Assurance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Compliance function, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our business operations align with robust and efficient controls, including FCA regulation. Your expertise will help us identify, resolve, and mitigate any related issues, driving continuous improvement in our Compliance function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embed and update compliance policies and procedures, ensuring seamless integration with business operations
  • Conduct regular horizon scanning activities to stay ahead of regulatory changes and provide business support
  • Perform independent assurance testing as per the compliance monitoring plan, focusing on key business processes with significant regulatory impact
Requirements
  • Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in a UK Financial Services firm, with a proven track record of identifying and interpreting compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various internal departments
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
