About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4, fostering a supportive learning environment, and collaborating with colleagues to maintain high educational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons that cater to the needs of students across KS3 and KS4.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student curiosity and growth.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the science department and across the school to ensure consistent high standards.
  • Maintain effective classroom management, adhering to school policies and procedures.
About You

We are looking for a qualified Science Teacher with the following skills and qualities:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching science at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge across all areas of science, with specialization in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcomed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for engaging students.
  • Dedication to creating a positive learning environment that motivates and supports all learners.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team.
