Financial Institutions Relationship Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare credit applications and renewals for Financial Institutions clients, ensuring timely submission to the Head Office and local credit committee for approval.
  • Market potential clients and maintain relationships with existing clients, promoting the products and services offered by our client.
  • Develop and manage a loan asset portfolio that aligns with the risk appetite of the bank.
  • Initiate risk rating and conduct due diligence, preparing credit submissions in accordance with standards and procedures, and presenting them to the credit committee.
  • Prepare pitch books and presentations as needed, highlighting the benefits of our client's products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with the bank's policy and risk framework, and work with the client-on-boarding team to complete the onboarding process for new and existing clients.
  • Minimize loan risks through proactive reviews and ongoing monitoring of changing economic and market influences, and applicable industry trends and data.
  • Manage conduct risk and controls, developing and implementing the bank's conduct risk framework processes.
  • Provide management information and respond to MI requests.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a Relationship Manager or Assistant Relationship Manager for a bank, dealing with Financial Institutions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Compliance and regulation conversant.
