Job Opportunity: Lead Social Worker in Children Services

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead Social Worker to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading a team of social workers, overseeing case work, and developing strategies to improve outcomes for children and families.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of social workers, providing guidance, support, and supervision.
  • Oversee case work, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to safeguard children and support families.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve practice and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: DipSW or equivalent, HCPC registration, current DBS.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years' experience as a qualified social worker in a children's social work team, with significant leadership and management experience.
  • Skillset: Excellent leadership and management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure.
