Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism in a mainstream school in Northwest London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to a student with Autism, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and psychologists to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting the student.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with special needs, preferably Autism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Right to work in the UK and experience working in the UK.
