About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, including staffing, placement planning, safeguarding, quality monitoring, and compliance with statutory and organisational policies. They will also foster an inclusive and supportive environment where each child's individual needs are met through tailored care and placement planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Management: Oversee the home's operations, ensuring high-quality care and compliance.
  • Policy Implementation: Ensure adherence to statutory and organisational policies.
  • Child-Centered Care: Foster an inclusive, supportive environment where each child's individual needs are met.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders and the wider community.
  • Reporting & Evaluation: Produce timely monitoring reports and statistical data, ensuring service delivery meets organisational standards.


Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have at least 3 years of experience working with children in the past 5 years, including 1 year in a senior role. They must also have a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it). Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills are essential.
