We are seeking a skilled Service Delivery Manager to oversee the delivery of medium-scale services or take ownership of part of a large service (Monitoring and Event Management) and other ITSM processes on an interim basis under the direction of a senior service manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that services are delivered to client and Sopra Steria cost, risk, quality, and service performance targets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT service management principles and practices, including ITIL or ISO/IEC20000. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of service delivery professionals.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that services are delivered to agreed scope, timescales, financial measures, quality measures, standards, service levels, and contractual arrangements.
  • Managing teams effectively to deliver high-quality services and meet client expectations.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks to the service, including financial impact.
  • Ensuring effective security controls and compliance with contract and Sopra Steria requirements.
  • Developing and implementing service delivery performance indicators to monitor and measure service delivery against contract/SLA/important metrics and expectations.

The successful candidate will be a proactive and innovative thinker, with a strong focus on continuous service improvement and driving business value for Sopra Steria and our clients.

Requirements:

  • Professional SM qualification such as ITIL4 (foundation).
  • Knowledge of Agile ways of working.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management principles and practices.
