Nurse Seekers Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Third in Charge Nursery Manager to join our team. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and support the staff team to implement high standards of quality practices within the nursery.
  • Establish daily routines that encourage independence for the children in line with best practice.
  • Implement EYFS and other legal and statutory frameworks.
  • Comply with safeguarding policies, procedures, and the staff code of conduct.
  • Undertake duties set by the management team to assist in the day-to-day running of the nursery.
  • Support the aims and objectives of the nursery and achieve a high standard of education and care.
  • Work in partnership with Parents/Carers and staff to ensure a high standard of care and education.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to safeguarding and children/colleague wellbeing.
  • Ensure safeguarding concerns or incidents are reported appropriately in line with policy.
  • Implement and monitor systems of observation to enable children's progress and achievements to be regularly and effectively assessed and recorded.
  • Assist with staff development and training.
Requirements
  • Level 3 NVQ qualification or equivalent in childcare.
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in the written and spoken English language.
  • Extensive knowledge of EYFS and ability to act in accordance with current legal and statutory frameworks, policies, and procedures.
