Job Title: Civil Structure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Structure Engineer to join our team at Essex Highways. As a key member of our structures service, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing structural maintenance and refurbishment on highway structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Health and Safety: Support the implementation of Essex Highways' policies and procedures to minimize work-related injuries.
  2. Design and Planning: Prepare design, planning, and programming for highway structures works and services.
  3. Engineering Expertise: Offer advice and expertise in the delivery of work based on engineering knowledge and experience.
  4. Project Leadership: Provide clear and effective project leadership to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  5. Mentorship: Mentor junior staff in the delivery of structural design and development of highway structures schemes.
  6. Budget Control: Assist in budgetary control and ensure financial management is undertaken throughout areas of responsibility.
