Job Description
This Clinical Administration Assistant role provides administrative support to our clinical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including emailing, scanning and coding clinical correspondence, dealing with medical report requests and producing iGPR medical reports.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as basic PC skills such as Word, Excel and email. Experience of iGPR medical software and summarising medical records would be advantageous but not essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as 27 days holiday a year and an NHS Pension scheme. We also provide apprenticeship opportunities and a range of other benefits including car benefit scheme, cycle to work schemes and employee wellbeing services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Emailing, scanning and coding clinical correspondence.
  2. Deal with medical report requests (PMA, Social Security, Housing and Disability Reports, Army, Firearms, Private Medicals) and invoices.
  3. Produce iGPR medical reports.
  4. Summarise medical records and record directly onto the GP clinical system.
  5. Typing and processing referral requests through e-Referral system.
  6. Supporting patient health promotion recall campaigns.
