Pediatric Nursing Coordinator

Aberdeenshire Council is recruiting a skilled Nursing Assistant to work part-time at Alford Academy Community Campus. The ideal candidate will possess a recognized 'First Aid' qualification and prior experience working with young people.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing vital care and support to pupils and staff, including administering First Aid when needed. You will also work closely with healthcare professionals and parents to ensure the well-being of our students.

To succeed in this position, you must be committed to delivering high-quality service through continuous improvement. This includes meeting the requirements of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.

This is a term-time role, requiring 75 hours per week during school and in-service days. Additional hours may be available and must be claimed on a timesheet.

• Provide First Aid and care to pupils and staff as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and parents to ensure pupil welfare.
• Improve service delivery to meet the needs of our students and staff.

The estimated annual salary for this role is £42,000, based on your qualifications and experience.
