Human Factors Specialist

Job Summary
Rullion is seeking a skilled Human Factors Specialist to join our team. As a Human Factors Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and usability of our products and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze key human factors documentation to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
- Conduct early human factors assessments to inform design decisions and mitigate risks.
- Perform human factors high-level task and error analysis to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and track human factors issues to ensure timely resolution and closure.
- Update proposed design control inputs for detailed design as required to ensure human factors considerations are integrated into the design process.
- Conduct fault schedule reviews to identify potential human factors issues and develop corrective actions.
- Review protection schedules to ensure human factors considerations are integrated into the protection strategy.
- Provide human factors assurance input into ALARP-based optioneering studies to ensure that human factors considerations are taken into account.
- Undertake human factors safety assessment work to support HAZAN activities and ensure that human factors considerations are integrated into the safety assessment process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering field.
- Chartership status.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry, such as nuclear.
- Experience creating human factors deliverables for submission to regulators.
- Able to gain SC clearance and DV clearance.
