**Job Overview:**

Capital Group is seeking an experienced Data Operations Manager to lead the development of a best-in-class data operations function. As a key member of the Enterprise Data Office (EDO) leadership team, you will play a crucial role in enabling Capital's data strategy and driving business impact.

Responsibilities:

As a Data Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team to operate a world-class data supply chain. This includes ensuring speed of access for exploration and experimentation, while protecting, privacy, timeliness, security, quality/accuracy, and provenance of data assets to support all of Capital's various data needs.

You will collaborate with business groups across Capital Group, as well as data product, engineering, and platform teams to drive optimization and efficiency. Your expertise in value stream analysis and stakeholders' collaboration will be essential in driving results.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in leading Data Engineering, Data Operations, and Technology teams and resources.
  • Demonstrated experience running production operations (L1/L2) of data and software-intensive systems with defined service levels.
  • A background in value stream analysis, stakeholders' collaboration to drive optimization, and a proven record of driving efficiency.
  • The ability to foster an environment of agile thinkers and successfully hire, develop, and lead a high-performing team.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $160,000, plus an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus, plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
