Mechanical Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at RGB Recruitment Ltd. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of large-scale projects, ensuring timely completion, and managing budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, including creating detailed schedules, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of supervisors and engineers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure project success.
- Design and Construction: Oversee the pre-construction design process, checking design drawings, and value engineering to optimize project outcomes.
- Contract Management: Prepare and monitor contract programmes, progress reports, and manage subcontractors to ensure compliance and quality.
- Commissioning and Handover: Oversee the commissioning process and ensure a smooth handover to clients, ensuring all project deliverables are met.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the M&E sector, with a strong background in mechanical project management.
- Commercial Awareness: Good understanding of commercial principles, including budgeting, cost control, and value engineering.
- Technical Skills: Ability to create basic programmes in Asta/MS Projects and possess SMSTS or equivalent certification.
