About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Independent Scrutineer. This is a unique opportunity to work with our safeguarding partnership, using your expertise to drive improvement and excellence in child safeguarding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead the development and implementation of strategies to improve our safeguarding systems and arrangements.
  • To provide high-quality analysis and recommendations to inform decision-making and drive positive change.
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with our safeguarding partners, ensuring effective collaboration and information sharing.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in safeguarding or a related field, with experience in leadership and quality assurance.
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • The confidence to challenge practices and hold agencies to account, while maintaining a culture of openness and trustworthiness.

What We Offer:

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
