About the Role:
We are seeking an accomplished professional to join our team as an Independent Scrutineer. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of safeguarding principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- To scrutinise our safeguarding systems and arrangements, identifying areas for improvement and recommending evidence-based solutions.
- To work closely with our safeguarding partners, providing expert advice and guidance to inform decision-making.
- To develop and maintain a culture of openness and transparency, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the safeguarding process.
Requirements:
- A strong background in safeguarding or a related field, with experience in leadership and quality assurance.
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The confidence to challenge practices and hold agencies to account, while maintaining a culture of openness and trustworthiness.
