- Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge in event sales.
- Proven experience in venue sales, preferably within the leisure, hospitality, or events industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to close deals effectively in the event sales space.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships for venue sales.
- A detail-oriented and organized approach, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of event planning and execution processes.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required to meet client needs in event sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software, with a focus on tracking venue sales performance.
