Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve budgeted revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients to enhance event sales opportunities.
- Conduct site visits and showcase the venue and its event spaces to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with operational colleagues to develop tailored event proposals that meet client needs.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless event execution.
- Manage event bookings, contracts, and invoicing with precision.
- Attend networking events and trade shows to generate new leads and secure venue sales.
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge in event sales.
- Proven experience in venue sales, preferably within the leisure, hospitality, or events industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to close deals effectively in the event sales space.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships for venue sales.
- A detail-oriented and organized approach, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of event planning and execution processes.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required to meet client needs in event sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software, with a focus on tracking venue sales performance.
