About the Marie Curie Wellbeing Support Hub
The Wellbeing Support Hub provides a range of activities for patients, families, and carers, all thanks to the invaluable support of our volunteers. We are seeking compassionate individuals to help us deliver these activities and enhance the patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients and carers
- Preparing and serving meals and refreshments
- Collaborating with the Activity Facilitator to plan and lead activities
- Encouraging patient participation in activities
- Maintaining a clean and organized day room space
- Assisting with other related tasks as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Flexibility and adaptability
- High standards of service and reliability
- Understanding of patient needs, particularly those affected by end-of-life care
- Confidentiality and discretion
