About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Engineering Trainer to join our dynamic team at Fife College. This exciting opportunity will enable you to contribute to the delivery of high-quality education and training in the School of Engineering, Construction and Technical Skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging learning experiences to a diverse range of learners in various educational settings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and evaluate teaching methods and curriculum effectiveness.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department, promoting excellence in teaching and learning.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Academic and Quality Manager to enhance the overall success of our curricular area.

Requirements
  • A relevant HND/Degree (SCQF 8/9) or SVQ Level 4/5 qualification in the relevant vocational area.
  • Relevant academic experience, preferably in further education.
  • Demonstrable experience and skills in following a vocational qualification.
  • A Teaching Qualification in Further Education (TQFE) and/or SVQ Level 3 in an Engineering discipline.

This position requires effective communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to inspire and motivate students. Working Conditions

This is a temporary position until 2 July 2025, working 35 hours per week (23 hours Class Contact) at Rosyth Campus, with travel possible within Fife.

The salary for this position is approximately £43,264 per annum (£40,170 - £48,357 placement on the scale dependent on qualifications and experience). We offer a stimulating work environment, opportunities for professional development, and a competitive benefits package.
