Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Innovation Engineering Lead to join our team at Mpac Group. As a key member of our Innovations department, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions to our customers.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles and experience in an engineering design or R&D role, preferably in a relevant industry such as manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or clean energy. You will be responsible for leading and implementing proof of principle (POP) projects to demonstrate successful and robust process solutions to both internal and external customers.

You will work collaboratively with our applications and technical departments to develop solutions for identified technical issues, design and test processes/solutions to fulfill customer requirements, and act as a technical expert to customers, adding value to the relationship. Additionally, you will develop roadmaps with support from manager R&D activities from first concepts through characterization to agreeable performance and quality criteria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and implement POP projects to demonstrate successful and robust process solutions
  • Work collaboratively with applications and technical departments to develop solutions for identified technical issues
  • Design and test processes/solutions to fulfill customer requirements
  • Act as a technical expert to customers, adding value to the relationship
  • Develop roadmaps with support from manager R&D activities
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles
  • Experience in an engineering design or R&D role, preferably in a relevant industry
  • Experience in presenting solutions to internal and external customers
  • HNC/HND with significant experience aligned to factory automation or BEng/BSc/MEng in relevant subject
What We Offer
