Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Bay View. As a key member of our residential team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care and support to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with the young person, their family, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to a safe, secure, and homely environment, ensuring the young person's needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders, promoting open communication and trust.
  • Participate in regular supervisions, training, and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Working with Children and Young People or equivalent qualification.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with vulnerable young people.
