Electrical Project Engineer Opportunity

Westlakes Recruit is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team in Cumbria. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a crucial role in the implementation of engineering strategies and frameworks for designated projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Implementation: Support the senior project team in the overall implementation of engineering strategies and frameworks for designated projects.
  2. Resource Management: Manage materials, plant, and labour within allocated budgets and resources, ensuring safe, effective, and efficient delivery of services.
  3. Communication: Ensure all systems, design information, procedures, and quality systems are effectively communicated.
  4. Technical Support: Support project delivery teams, verifying work, providing technical support, and leading or supporting assurance on projects.
  5. Personal Expertise: Maintain personal expertise and knowledge to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the industry, technically and in using the latest technologies and standards.
  6. Team Coaching: Provide coaching and motivation to project teams to deliver high performance and create a culture of continuous improvement.
  7. Engineering Management: Ensure efficient management of engineering, from conception to installation and maintenance, recognizing site conditions and constraints.
  8. Procurement and Quality: Ensure efficient operation of procurement, material control policies, and procedures, and implement quality assurance and technical integrity principles.
  9. Project Performance: Provide concise and accurate feedback on project performance against estimates.
  10. Digital Tools: Seek to understand and implement digital tool sets to support project execution.
