Onshore Wind Owners Engineer

Location: London Area, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

The Green Recruitment Company is currently working with a leading Australian advisory firm who are investing significantly in renewable energy in the UK.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Onshore Wind Owners Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the engineering aspects of onshore wind projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Development: Lead the development and planning of onshore wind projects, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  2. Engineering Oversight: Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, reviewing engineering design, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
  3. Construction and Commissioning: Manage the procurement process for onshore wind projects, including tendering, contract negotiation, and vendor selection.
  4. Quality Assurance and Control:
  5. Act as the primary point of contact for engineering-related matters, both internally and externally.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical).
  2. Proven experience in the development, construction, and operation of onshore wind projects.
  3. Experience managing engineering activities, budgets, and schedules.
