Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals in the Tower Hamlets area, working with patients with a range of neurological conditions. As a Highly Specialist Neurological Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and clinically managing complex patients with neurological conditions, determining clinical diagnosis, functional deficits, and developing treatment programs.

Main Duties
  • Provide highly specialist assessment, treatment, and clinical management of clients with neurological conditions, determining clinical diagnosis, functional deficits, and developing occupational therapy treatment programs.
  • Develop and implement efficient and effective occupational therapy working practices to support a multidisciplinary team approach.
  • Work with the Allied Health Professional Lead to develop the service to meet changing health and social care agendas.
  • Be responsible for the clinical development and operational management of a team of occupational therapists within the Tower Hamlets Community Neuro Team.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to contribute to the Allied Health Professional Lead as required.
  • Work in collaboration with the acute neurological occupational therapy service and community health services to provide integrated care for clients with neurological diagnoses within Tower Hamlets.
