Job Description

This exciting opportunity is part of our ongoing efforts to improve our supply chain efficiency and reduce costs. As a Production Planner, you will play a critical role in driving these initiatives forward.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with sales teams and demand planners to develop rolling 3-month confirmed production plans by SKU for multiple production sites.
  2. Present recommendations for stockholding positions using the planning function within AGR, identifying and addressing situations where stocks are too high or too low.
  3. Manage long-term planning requirements, completing all planning and inventory reports on time and in full.
  4. Develop a 12-month rolling plan at the Product Group level, accounting for production frequency of slower-moving lines.
  5. Collaborate with production suppliers to optimize production schedules, grouping colours and product groups to ensure efficiencies and maximize outputs.
  6. Ensure production running schedules align with critical monthly shipping cutoff dates.
  7. Provide day-to-day visibility of production expectations to support sales order fulfillment.
  8. Lead production calls with manufacturers, addressing potential issues and communicating any foreseen changes to the plan.
  9. Oversee component management, partnering with the Component Planner to ensure all free-issue components are available on time at manufacturing sites.
  10. Define stock allocations for high-demand Product Groups/SKUs with restricted inventory volumes in collaboration with Sales Teams.
  11. Utilize inventory reports from the Masterdata Coordinator to manage inventory levels at warehouse locations, ensuring they remain within agreed targets and taking immediate action to address exceptions.
  12. Create monthly S&OP slides to analyze performance and exceptions for capacity, supply, and impacts on working capital budgets, supporting strategic decision-making and priority setting.
  13. Identify slow-moving or obsolete lines for Finished Goods & Component Stocks in collaboration with the Component Planner, assessing Value at Risk (VAR) and supporting manufacturing policy decisions.
