Job Title: Adult Community Specialist Speech Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Community Specialist Speech Therapist to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work in a community setting, providing specialist speech and language therapy services to adults with dysphagia and communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist speech and language therapy services to adults with dysphagia and communication needs
  • Work in a community setting, providing therapy in patients' homes or in community clinics
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patients' needs
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patients' communication and swallowing difficulties
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree or postgraduate diploma in Speech Therapy
  • Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered
  • Member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • Training in the Lee Silverman Voice Therapy approach
