Job Summary:

EdEx seeks a motivated Psychology graduate to fill the position of a Teaching Support Specialist. This role involves providing tailored support to students in Psychology lessons and collaborating with experienced teachers to deliver exceptional educational outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent Psychology graduate to develop their skills, gain field-based experience, and contribute to the growth of students across Key Stages 3-5.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students in and out of Psychology lessons, considering their specific needs and requirements.
  • Work closely with the teaching team to design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to the teaching team.
Requirements and Expectations:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • A genuine passion for Psychology and a commitment to delivering high-quality educational outcomes.
