Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Sheffield. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing capital projects to support the growth and productivity of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute capital project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver capital and technical agendas during the development phases of capital investment projects.
  • Ensure that accurate budgets, plans, and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are delivered.
  • Support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets, and rollout best practices.
  • Manage construction sites and contractors safely and in line with food safety requirements.
  • Understand and navigate Procurement processes and contracts.
  • Good understanding of financial processes associated with Capital investments.

Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge in project engineering, preferably in FMCG or food industry.
  • Ability to run several high-value projects simultaneously, across process, packaging, utilities, buildings, and infrastructure areas.
  • Good understanding of automation and control, as well as other core areas.
  • Can work cross-functionally and bring ideas from other industries and Mondelez plants together to engineer innovative solutions and ways of working.
  • Able to take an idea, produce multiple options, and bring stakeholders to an informed decision of the best approach for the site.
  • Senior-level technical expertise across engineering disciplines.
  • Fluency with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, project management software, and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
