Job Summary

Center Parcs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Team Leader (Chef de Partie) to join our busy culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food to the highest standards, while ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coach junior staff, promoting their personal development and providing excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Deputise for the Assistant Kitchen Manager in their absence, overseeing unit chefs and maintaining the efficient operation of the kitchen.
  • Assist with the management of cost of sales, using effective ordering systems, stock control, and portion control to minimize food waste.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar position, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues.
  • Naturally cheerful, patient, and friendly, with a professional and approachable attitude.
