The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and support of cutting-edge radar and electro-optic products. Based in Edinburgh, you will work on mission-critical systems for global defence and aerospace markets.

The Role:

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of advanced mechanical systems, taking ownership of product design from concept to completion. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering innovative mechanical solutions using 3D CAD software.
  • Conducting stress and thermal analysis to ensure products meet technical, safety, and quality standards.
  • Leading and supporting design reviews to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to requirements.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and development-focused environment.
  • Collaborating with engineers from other disciplines to drive project success.
