Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Account Executive to join our team at Cosmic Partners. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with small-to-medium business (SMB) clients to ensure their internal salary review processes are competitive and compliant.

Our technology connects to existing HRIS systems, cross-references salary details across millions of job postings, industries, and countries, providing a robust and cost-effective solution for SMBs to attract and retain top talent.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Outbound prospecting into SMBs to identify opportunities for internal salary reviews.
  • Running the full 360 sales process, including demos and contract negotiations to convey the benefits of our solution in a consultative manner.
  • Consistently hitting and achieving targets set by the senior management team, with a focus on acquiring new customers as quickly as possible.
  • Closing working with the wider commercial and senior team to contribute insights that will lead to the creation of a robust GTM function.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the CRM, providing valuable insights for the client to further develop the sales function.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • At least 2 years of experience as a strong SDR, with a proven track record of taking an outbound approach to filling the pipeline with qualified opportunities.
  • At least 18 months of full-cycle closing experience, with a bonus for experience in HR-tech sales.
  • A structured and value-based approach to sales, with training in SPIN, MEDDICC, or similar methodologies.
  • Extreme adaptability, as this is an early-stage sales function and the client will be experimenting with different methods to achieve success.
  • A self-starter mentality, with a proven track record in early-stage start-ups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with top executives.
