Job Opportunity:

Norfolk County Council and Norfolk Community Health and Care Trust are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join their team as an Assistant Practitioner in the Northern Learning Disabilities Team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work under pressure, be well-organized, and able to effectively prioritize tasks. They will need to have a positive attitude, enjoy finding creative and innovative solutions, and possess excellent communication skills, record-keeping, and keyboard skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong partnerships with service users and their families
  • Confidently explore ideas for positive outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Provide specialist Learning Disability support to adults in the community

Development Opportunities:

The successful candidate may be offered the post of Supported Assistant Practitioner (Grade F) and will be expected to complete the 'Assistant Practitioner development programme' in an agreed timescale. Satisfactory completion of the programme would enable their role to progress to Assistant Practitioner (Grade G).
