Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Swimming Teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Swimming Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our Swim School and School Swimming programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Teaching Team: Assist in planning and delivering engaging and educational lessons, following our scheme of work and guidance from relevant National Governing Bodies.
• Assist Pupils in the Water: Support pupils from the water at lower stages, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Develop Teaching Qualifications: Support post-holders to develop towards achieving their Swim England level 1 and level 2 Teaching Qualifications and the NRASTC rescue qualification.
• Deliver Crash Courses: Assist in delivering crash courses, with support, and progress to cover existing classes.
• Customer Safety and Service: Assist with routine checks, housekeeping standards, and customer safety, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for our customers.
• Represent LeisureSK: Represent LeisureSK in a professional and efficient manner, remaining calm in difficult situations and proactive in dealing with issues.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Swim England level 1 and level 2 Teaching Qualifications and the NRASTC rescue qualification.
• Experience: Previous experience in a swimming teaching role, with a strong understanding of water safety and customer service.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
