About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Carer to join our team at Allied & Clinical Healthcare Recruitment. As a Senior Carer, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with dementia in a care home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with dementia, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance the quality of care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest dementia care practices and research.
  • Work effectively with colleagues and other professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and excellent client outcomes.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with clients with dementia in a care home setting is essential.
  • Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals with dementia.
  • Medication Management certificate is required.
  • Nice to have MAPA/PMVA or CPI certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and other professionals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and work schedules.
  • Knowledge of mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and recovery principles is preferred.
  • Driving Licence is preferred but not essential.
  • Must be a UK resident and have the right to work in the UK.
