Teaching Assistant Leadership Opportunity

Academics Ltd is seeking an experienced and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to lead our Special Needs Support Team in Reading, Berkshire.

Role Details

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing individualized learning plans
  • Collaborating with teachers to create a supportive learning environment
  • Mentoring and supervising junior staff members

You will also be expected to maintain accurate records and report progress to parents and staff.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience working with students with special educational needs

Possession of a degree or relevant qualification is highly desirable.
