Job Title: Executive Chef

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Executive Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our clients and customers
  • Overseeing and implementing menu changes to ensure we meet our high standards
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our food services and implement cost-saving measures
  • Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
  • Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
  • Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked and maintain high levels of hygiene

Requirements:

  • Possession of a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification in culinary arts
  • Experience supervising a team in a similar role
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and food quality
  • Flexible approach to working and ability to work effectively under pressure

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £14.37 per hour, paid weekly. Additionally, they will be eligible for a range of benefits including a £1500 joining bonus (subject to T&Cs).
