Senior Adviser Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Adviser to join our team at Housing Digital. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and guidance on regulatory matters related to the social housing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse and evaluate financial and corporate information to identify areas of risk and non-compliance.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to resolve complex cases and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with colleagues, including the in-house legal team, to agree on the appropriate use of statutory enforcement or intervention powers.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on financial regulation, governance, and risk management to registered providers.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of influencing the management and implementation of change within a regulatory environment.
  • Sound financial awareness and understanding of financial regulation, financial management, and governance.
  • Working knowledge of the strategy, operations, and key processes of registered providers, particularly in relation to governance, management, and financial control.
