Senior Adviser Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Adviser to join our team at the Regulator of Social Housing. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and guidance to support the effective regulation of the social housing sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and evaluate financial and corporate information to inform regulatory decisions
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to resolve complex cases and ensure proportionate regulatory responses
  • Collaborate with colleagues, including the in-house legal team, to agree the use of statutory enforcement or intervention powers
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on regulatory matters
Requirements
  • Experience of influencing change within a regulatory environment
  • Sound financial awareness and understanding of financial regulation, financial management, and governance
  • Working knowledge of the strategy, operations, and key processes of registered providers
