Residential Care Officer

About the Role
The successful candidate will work in our residential children's care homes, providing a warm and caring environment for looked after children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
As a Relief Residential Care Officer, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager and Senior Residential Care Officer.
Key responsibilities include providing a safe and supportive environment, promoting the emotional, social and physical well-being of the children and young people, and working sensitively as a team member to meet their individual needs.
Requirements
You will be required to work a rota primarily consisting of mornings and afternoons, including weekends and bank holidays.
You may be asked to undertake sleep-in duties as required to meet the needs of the care home.
It is essential that you are highly motivated, willing to have flexibility in covering shifts, and able to advocate for the children and young people.
