About the Role
Bay Medical Group is seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support GPs in their day-to-day management of patients, focusing on reducing administrative burdens and improving patient access and flow within surgery hours.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing smooth-running efficient support to the general practitioners at BMG. This includes organising and facilitating group consultations/clubs, identifying and understanding the types of services and facilities that patients may require access to for care support. Additionally, they will complete 24-hour ECG/ECHO referrals, book prerequisite investigations, liaise with families following notification of in-house Child DNAs or receipt of Secondary Care Child not brought letters, and report back to the GP.

This role requires excellent communication skills, listening skills, and the ability to adapt different communication styles appropriately. The ideal candidate will have experience working in General Practice, using EMIS clinical systems, and handling confidential information in health and social care settings. They will also be capable of working with clinicians and senior managers, managing group dynamics, and prioritizing tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. The salary for this position is £26,500 per annum, offering a comprehensive induction, training plan, access to the NHS Pension Scheme, incremental annual leave scheme, Occupational Sick Pay scheme, and NHS discount scheme.
