Job Title: Heavy Plant and Machinery Operative

Esken Renewables is seeking a skilled Heavy Plant and Machinery Operative to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of waste wood to produce biomass fuel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are followed, reporting any accidents or near misses.
  • Work towards daily production KPIs with team members, contributing to the achievement of company goals.
  • Responsible for ensuring traffic management processes are adhered to, enabling the safe operation of the site.
  • Competent to train others in the operation of machinery and procedures.
  • Responsible for the quality of product, ensuring it meets customer specifications.
  • Daily machine checks and loading vehicles.
Requirements:
  • Computer literacy
  • First aid training
  • CITB certification
  • Loading shovel certificate
