Job Summary

Esken Renewables is seeking a skilled Heavy Plant and Machinery Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in the processing of waste wood and the production of biomass fuel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed, and report any accidents or near misses.
  • Environmental and Quality Responsibilities: Adhere to company procedures, policies, and protocols related to environmental and quality responsibilities.
  • Daily Production KPIs: Work towards achieving daily production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with team members.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner, following appropriate training and sign-off.
  • Traffic Management: Ensure that traffic management processes are adhered to, enabling the safe operation of the site.
  • Training and Development: Be competent to train others and contribute to the development of the team.
  • Quality of Product: Ensure that the quality of the product meets customer specifications.
  • Daily Machine Checks: Perform daily machine checks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Loading Vehicles: Load vehicles efficiently and safely.
Requirements
  • Computer Literacy: Possess basic computer skills.
  • First Aid Training: Hold a valid first aid certificate.
  • CITB Certification: Hold a CITB certification.
  • Loading Shovel Certificate: Possess a loading shovel certificate.
