At Massenhove Recruitment, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Insurance Technician.
About the Role
As a Trainee Insurance Technician, you will be part of an Operating Team responsible for providing technical administration support to broking staff within dedicated Business Units. You will be allocated to a team of Technicians who provide specialist support organized around various lines of insurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Process slips, quotes, indications, and endorsements with accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform technical duties, including data entry, credit control, and chasing subjectivities.
- Stay informed of all regulatory and legal changes impacting the job role.
- Maintain up-to-date records on Company systems.
- Meet agreed targets and develop positive relationships with Business Units.
- Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers, and third parties as appropriate.
- Handle client renewals and mid-term adjustments as necessary.
- Respond to clients' queries in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual with previous work experience in Insurance, ideally as a technician. Progression towards gaining professional qualifications is desired but not essential. The successful candidate will possess attention to detail, ability to produce accurate documentation, and excellent communication skills.
