About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MRI Radiographer to join our Radiography Department in Eastbourne. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct MRI procedures to the highest standards, adhering to MHRA Guidance 2015 and IR(ME)R 2017.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a positive experience from referral to results.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and take appropriate action.
  • Respect and work within patients' and service users' customs, values, and spiritual beliefs.
  • Support patient bookings and maintain accurate patient information systems.
  • Complete competency assessments and adhere to operational procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist placement students and colleagues in achieving their learning outcomes.
  • Share knowledge and clinical experience with the team to support growth and development.
Requirements
  • BSc Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership of a professional body and valid registration with the HCPC.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental MRI physics and scanning techniques.
  • Proven knowledge of radiographers' roles regarding patient care, careers, and colleagues.
  • High level of professionalism and technical standard of work.
  • Aptitude towards improving quality.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Understanding of data protection, Caldicott Principles, and GDPR.
  • Flexible approach to work and ability to work across 7 days.
  • Strong team player attitude, being supportive, caring, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy environment.
