About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MRI Radiographer to join our Radiography Department in Eastbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality MRI scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI scans to best practice standards, adhering to MHRA Guidance 2015 and IR(ME)R 2017.
  • Ensure patient safety and well-being throughout the scanning process.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on equipment and take appropriate action.
  • Support patient bookings and maintain accurate patient information systems.
  • Participate in competency assessments and adhere to operational procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist in the development and training of junior colleagues.
Requirements
  • BSc Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body and valid registration with the HCPC.
  • Strong understanding of MRI physics and scanning techniques.
  • Proven knowledge of radiographers' roles in patient care and safety.
  • High level of professionalism and technical standard of work.
  • Aptitude for improving quality and patient experience.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively.
  • Understanding of data protection and confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work across 7 days, including weekends.
